Skattebo Set to Return as Giants Lead Rushing Attack Against Texans

Cam Skattebo is expected to reclaim his role as the New York Giants’ primary running back this weekend when the team faces the Houston Texans on Sunday. According to sources speaking with NFL Network , Skattebo will re-enter the game plan prominently following a quiet performance in Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints, where he received zero touches.

Gying his second season out of Arizona State, Skattebo has become a central figure in the Giants’ offensive strategy. Since entering the league in 2025, Skattebo has struggled with ball security, losing five fumbles across just 13 career games—an areas head coach John Harbaugh emphasized needs improvement moving forward.
