Hurricane Isaias Brings Rain to Maryland This Weekend

As Hurricane Isaias moves up the Atlantic coast, its remnant low will bring rain and gusty winds to Maryland this weekend. While tropical conditions are not expected to reach the state, the storm’s moisture will fuel a wet Sunday and potentially disruptive weather.

Sunshine Continues Friday

Friday will start out sunny, with a few clouds arriving later in the day. High temperatures are forecast to reach the mid‑70s, providing a pleasant start to the weekend.

Rain Arrives This Weekend

Saturday remains the better day to be outdoors, but rain will develop after midnight on Sunday and turn heavy at times. Gusts to 30 mph are possible, especially near the Chesapeake Bay. Coastal flooding is not expected.
