Laura Wright Celebrates Son LJ’s Engagement
On October 20, General Hospital star Laura Wright revealed that her son, John “LJ” Wright, is engaged to his girlfriend, Emily, sharing the happy news with her followers.

Wright posted a photo of the couple on Instagram, showing Emily wearing her engagement ring. “My favorite son is getting hitched and we are thrilled!!! We love you both so so much !!!” she wrote.
“Fiancée,” LJ captioned his own post, which also featured Emily with her ring.
Wright commented, “Woooooo hooooooooo” and later added, “Oh, I’m so so happy and proud of you both. Let the fun begin.”

Her longtime boyfriend, Wes Ramsey, showed his support with a simple “CONGRATULATIONS.” The couple recently enjoyed a weekend in Aspen, Colorado, with LJ and Emily, sharing photos of their fun‑filled trip.
LJ is Wright’s youngest child and only son with ex‑husband John Wright. She also has an older daughter, Lauren, with whom she shares a love of reading.
Recent Celebrations and Travel
Just weeks before the engagement, Wright celebrated Ramsey’s birthday, writing, “This kind, generous handsome man was born today and I couldn’t be more grateful. Happy birthday Wes Ramsey I adore you.”
Since the beginning of 2026, the pair has traveled together to the Pacific Northwest, Lake Tahoe, Paris, and other destinations. In August, Wright announced her return to the set of General Hospital in Port Charles.
